Crown Nissan of Greensboro was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. I was excited to get to go see them on Wendover and deliver them some cupcakes. Soo enjoyed visiting with Beth. Shady Grove Wesleyan Preschool in Colfax was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. I was excited to get to go see them and deliver cupcakes. Soo enjoyed visiting with Stephanie and sharing with her how much what she and her team does to keep kids safe, engaged and excited about learning means to their family.

High Point Christian Academy in High Point was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. They have worked diligently to keep the school open for in person learning (prek-12th grade) by keeping everyone masked and socially distanced. I was excited to get to go see them and deliver cupcakes. Soo enjoyed sharing with them how much what the Administration and nurses have done means to the teachers, the students and their families.

Since there can never be too much sweetness in this world we did two Random Acts of Sweetness today. Lake Jeannette Urgent Care and Custom Care Pharmacy were both nominated for doing an excellent job getting patients looked at quickly and efficiently all while maintaining a safe environment and a smile. Trader Joe’s in Greensboro was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. If you have been to Trader Joe’s then you know how awesome the store is and how even more AWESOME the team that works there is. Always helpful and friendly. If you have not had a chance to go, then grab your keys and put on your coat and head over there (well I guess during store hours. Going there after store hours and you may have a friend with you 👮♂️). 😂

Tractor Supply in Oak Ridge was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. Tractor Supply is a wonderful store and is full of everything you need to work in your yard regardless of the size. The team is so friendly and attentive and puppy dogs are welcome to shop with you. (Don’t tell Lui and Elvis or they will be upset they didn’t get to come with me on the delivery).

Cardinal Animal Hospital in Greensboro was nominated this week for a Random Act of Sweetness. They were nominated for all the help they give Break the Chain Kennel Kru (www.BTCKennelKru.org) which is a nonprofit that works in under-served neighborhoods in Guilford County to assist families with chained dogs to become compliant with local anti-tethering ordinances.
Sylvia with BTCKK notes Cardinal Animal Hospital assists with many of the dogs veterinary needs and never hesitates to help even with last minute requests.
Being an avid animal lover, I was excited and honored to get to go visit with them and deliver cupcakes today and pass on the appreciation for all that they do.

This week Random Acts of Sweetness is going out to the Greensboro Fire Station 40. They, like all our Fire Departments, do such an outstanding job keeping our city safe and that was so evident this weekend with our ice storm.

Cone Health Community Health and Wellness Center in Greensboro was nominated this week for Random Acts of Sweetness. They serve our homeless and uninsured population. They have been working hard through COVID to keep our community well and fed. They are even starting a mobile unit even that will help those who are unable to get out, have full benefits of the doctors office.

The Greensboro Science Center was nominated this week for Random Acts of Sweetness. They have worked to keep the center open and safe for visitors. So many in the community love going and learning about the animals and having a place to spend time with the kids.

Hernandez Carpet Cleaning in Greensboro was nominated this week for Random Acts of Sweetness. They were noted for having great customer service and a reliable diligent team. Urban Ministries in Greensboro was nominated this week for Random Acts of Sweetness. They were noted for all the work they do in our community helping those in need. Urban Ministries helps feed the hungry, shelter the homeless and strengthen families.
I was so honored to deliver cupcakes to them and pass on the appreciation for all that they do for Greensboro. I am also excited that My Sweet Little Bake Shop, along with other local eateries, will be participating in Urban Ministitries’ Serving Greensboro Together (SGT) on May 4th where 10% of our sales will go to further their good works with the Potter’s House Community Kitchen which has provided a hot lunch to anyone who is hungry for more than 32 years.

Gate City Animal Hospital of Greensboro for always taking such good care of her whether preventative, illness or boarding. Bandit’s Mom noted that their honest assessments of treatment options are clearly and practically explained and Bandit said the staff always greats her with smiles and love.

The word spreads fast in the canine community (this is why you never tell them where you hide the cupcakes). Abby heard from Bandit that your friends get treats when you recognize them so Abby went straight to mom to make sure her friends at North Elm Animal Hospital of Greensboro were recognized. Abby’s mom Cindy said any time Abby is sick or has a medical need, the team at North Elm Animal Hospital is always so kind and accommodating. Dr. Bormann is always so kind and compassionate not only in caring for Abby but also in answering my questions/concerns about her and making sure I am ok.

New Era - Alterations - Dry Cleaning - Shoe Repair in Kernersville was nominated this week for Random Acts of Sweetness. They were noted for all the work they do to keep our clothes looking their best for as long as possible.
Talk about a small business industry hit hard by COVID. With all the work from home requirements and restrictions on large group celebrations, there has been less need for dry cleaning and alterations. I was so happy to deliver cupcakes to them and pass on the appreciation for all that they do.

The Veterans Health Administration is the largest integrated health care system in the United States, providing care at 1,293 health care facilities, to over 9 million Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program. We are blessed to have a facility in our area serving our veterans and is this week’s Random Acts of Sweetness.

I was excited to bring them cupcakes and check out this wonderful service (my car needed a new battery). They reminded me that the cold weather is hard on batteries. I can attest how awesome they were. They got me the battery I needed and even installed it for no extra charge. Thanks Adam and team. You guys are the best!

This weeks Random Acts of Sweetness goes to The Salvation Army in Greensboro. The Salvation Army and their dedicated team work diligently to help those who may be struggling in our community. They provide access to boys and girls clubs, after school and summer camps, individual and group counseling, support groups and so so much more.
