Oh the options

Candy Canes. They sit in dishes at restaurant cash registers most of the year but at Christmas they shine. We hang them on trees, put them on presents, give them to holiday visitors and include them in Christmas stockings (well maybe not for the naughty ones.). So Christmas would not be complete without including them on a cupcake.

To continue our holiday cookie theme, I give you the snowball. They have to be one of the funnest cookies rolled in sugar and look like little snowballs. (Legal disclaimer:  throwing snowball cookies unlike real snowballs can take an eye out so make sure you are only throwing them at someone with a really Big mouth). 😂

We always made peanut butter cookies at Christmas but I had some of you share that you would top them with a chocolate kiss. I thought OMG that is brilliant. What could make a peanut butter cookie better than chocolate. This cookie inspired cupcake is going to be a must have for you peanut butter lovers.

So I spent some time up in the great white north and holidays were not complete without cranberries and oranges. This cupcake is my salute to the rustic Christmases in the cabin nestled in the trees covered in snow.  The warm glow of the fire lighting the Christmas tree that is draped in cranberry garland and orange slice ornaments.

This is my salute to my beloved South. It is a moist banana cupcake filled with vanilla pudding and topped with vanilla cream and crushed vanilla wafers. This baby is so good. Good for breakfast, good for lunch, good for dinner, good for mid day snacks, good for late night cravings. Just good!!  So buy in bulk so you always have one when you need one.
